We are recruiting Account Executives - Business Development

PACKAGE
£25k - 30k basic salary dependent on experience
Uncapped commission & bonus structure
27 days annual leave

LOCATION
Flexible remote working from anywhere in the UK. Our business hub is Solihull, and office space is available if required

TRAINING
In order to ensure your success in this role, you will receive detailed training on our product and in specialist contractors' cost management processes and workflows. You will have the full support of your line manager and our friendly and enthusiastic team around you.

Job description & responsibilities

We are currently expanding our business development team to support our rapid growth, and we are seeking passionate and driven Account Executives who excel at identifying new opportunities and closing deals. In particular this role will involve:

  • Identifying opportunities | Collaborating closely with the existing sales team to discover and qualify new sales opportunities with specialist contractors in the construction sector

  • Building pipeline | In addition to working with inbound leads, developing and maintaining a sustainable pipeline of prospects using a mix of calling, emails and social media channels

  • Conducting discovery meetings | Leading effective discovery meetings with prospective clients to understand their needs and propose suitable solutions

  • Delivering software demonstrations | Conducting impactful software demonstrations that showcase the value of our products to potential clients

  • Negotiating contracts | Engaging in strong contract negotiations to secure deals, capitalise on upsell opportunities and drive revenue growth

As an Account Executive at Chalkstring, you will be rewarded with commission payments for every new client you secure. Additionally, you will receive bonuses for achieving financial milestones. The commission and bonus structure are uncapped, providing unlimited earning potential for high-performing Account Executives.

Requirements

  • Sales experience | Proven track record in B2B sales, particularly with complex technical products

  • Goal-oriented | Demonstrated ability to achieve KPIs and sales targets.

  • Self-motivated | Capable of working remotely with minimal supervision

  • Effective communication | Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail

  • Problem-solving skills | Ability to think laterally, come up with viable solutions and adapt to change

  • Senior-level engagement | Skilled in engaging effectively with prospective clients at a senior level

  • Resilience | Possess the ability to deal with challenges, even when the chips are down

  • Passionate | Display a positive, outgoing & passionate demeanour

  • Eligibility | Must live in and be eligible to work in the UK

  • Transport | Hold a full clean driving license and have access to a car
